Our Mission

Built because everyday Australians
weren't being heard.

We were tired of it. Tired of politicians claiming to speak for "most Australians" without proof. Tired of debates driven by spin instead of facts. Tired of everyday voices being drowned out.

This platform was created to give Australians a voice—a real, measurable, transparent voice that can't be manipulated or misrepresented.

Inspired by Swiss Democracy

In Switzerland, citizens regularly vote on important national issues through direct democracy. The government uses this data to guide—and sometimes override—major decisions.

It's a system that puts power in the hands of everyday people, not just politicians.

Our hope is that the open, transparent data from this platform can influence decision-making here in Australia—giving politicians no choice but to listen to what Australians actually think.

Our Promises

How we keep this platform honest.

These commitments ensure AussieTally remains independent, transparent, and true to its mission of giving Australians a voice.

We will never sell this platform

AussieTally is being structured as a public good. Our goal is to ensure it can never be sold to politicians, corporations, or private interests.

Open data for open debate

All voting results are public and downloadable, broken down by demographics and location. We believe transparency drives better conversations.

Complete transparency on funding

We commit to publishing every dollar we receive and spend. No hidden donors, no dark money.

Open-source code

We're committed to making our codebase open and auditable, so anyone can verify how the platform works.

Your vote stays anonymous

Your identity is verified once, then permanently separated from your votes. We can't connect you to your opinions, even if forced to.

No algorithmic manipulation

Issues aren't hidden or promoted by secret algorithms. You control how you sort and filter—by new, trending, or controversial.

Anyone can submit issues

Citizens, organizations, and companies can all propose issues. All issues receive the same neutral AI analysis of incentives.
